Thailand Tunic
About
Inspired by the genderless and versatile tunics sold at the markets in Thailand. Made from ightweight and airy bamboo silk for casual, effortless style. Dyed with coreopsis.
Coreopsis plants are a beautiful wildflower I grow on my balcony. They provide bright orange colors or dark greens depending on how the fabric has been treated. It is one of my favorite dye plants to work with and the flower is portrayed in the Wear Tinctoria logo.
Any inconsistencies in color are part of the natural dye process and add to the dynamic beauty of plant pigments.
Material: Luxuriously soft 100% Bamboo Silk

Botanical dyes are often referred to as living color because the shades mature with time.... Fabrics are treated with mineral salts before dyeing to ensure maximum permanence of the color, but following the tips above will extend their vibrancy.
