Classic Tank

  • About

Classic tank dyed with myrobalan and printed with plum leaves.

Myrobalan is a dye that comes from the hoothills of the himalayas. The dye is extracted from the fruits of the tree and is very high in tannins. It gives buttery yellows and greenish greys on fabric.

Plum leaves are common around Portugal and can be found lining streets and planted in parks. The trees are mostly ornamental and the leaves can be found easily on the ground (especially after a strong wind).

Material: 95% GOTS Organic Cotton | 5% Elastan

  • Fit

Tight enough so you don't have to wear a bra, stretchy enough to fit different sizes.

Sofi is 1.72m and normally wears an S/M.

Currently working on expanding my sizing selection to be more inclusive. As this is a new initiative I've just been replicating my own favorite clothes. If you have a garment you loooove, get in touch and we can discuss how to make a naturally dyed version!

  • Care

Botanical dyes are often referred to as living colour because of the way the shades mature with time.... depending on the dye used, the pigments will have varying sensitivity to sunlight and washing. Fabrics are treated before dyeing to ensure maximum fatness of the color, but here are two tips for caring for your naturally dyed clothing.

    1. Wash with pH neutral natural soap in cold water. Please note, the first time you wash the garment some extra dye might come out.

    2. Dry out of the sun.
