Volunteer in the Dye Garden

Volunteer at the Tinctorium Studio dye garden on Sundays (usually the first Sunday of the month, but with some exceptions during the summer)! Practice your gardening skills, meet the dye plants, connect with plant-loving humans, and get those fingers in some dirt. 

Tasks often include weeding, pruning, transplanting, starting seeds, building trellises, watering, setting up new planting areas, compost maintenance, harvesting flowers and seeds, etc. 

You can expect plant therapy, snacks, music, and good vibes. I'm proud that previous gardening sessions have created the space for friendships to emerge, business partnerships to evolve, and connections to take root. 

Upcoming dates include: 20/8, 17/9, 1/10, 5/11, 3/12 

Hours will vary a bit and any deviation will be communicated a few days before, but in general, it will be from about 15h to sunset. 

Please bring clothing that you can get dirty, comfortable shoes, drinking water, a hat and/or sunscreen. 

Carcavelos or Oeiras are the closest train stations from Lisbon. From there it's a short bus, uber, or I can try to coordinate a pickup. 

RSVP is appreciated but not required for the individual days you'd like to participate. Knowing how many people are coming helps me to plan and organize the afternoon. RSVPing also means you'll get an automatic reminder email with the address, etc.
